Elma Danielsson : ウィキペディア英語版 | Elma Danielsson Elma Danielsson (1865-1936), was a Swedish journalist and politician (Social Democrat). She was a journalist and temporary editor of the ''Arbetet'' from 1887, and has been referred to as the first woman in the social democratic press.〔Berger, Margareta, Pennskaft: kvinnliga journalister i svensk dagspress 1690-1975 (Female journalists in Swedish press 1690-1975 ), Norstedt, Stockholm, 1977〕 She was a driving force of the women's rights movement within the Swedish working class movement, and the founder of the ''Kvinnliga arbetarförbundet'' (Women's Worker's Association) in 1888, the first organisation for women workers in Sweden, and is chairperson in 1888-90. She was a co-founder of the ''Malmös kvinnliga diskussionsklubb'' (Malmö Women's Discussion Club) in 1900. She was the first female member of the Malmö City Council. ==References==
